The customer requested an updated version of their original design for a progressive church in Sycamore, Illinois dedicated to justice and healing for all. I kept the triangular shape to mimic the church's architecture and simplified the stained glass design to more closely resemble the beautiful stained glass in the Federated Church of Sycamore. I kept the rainbow color palette to represent inclusivity and was able to make it flow cohesively across the entire design.
I recreated the customer's .png file of their logo using vector shapes. Vector tracing is a technique that converts raster images into scalable vector graphics. This process can have several benefits, like scalability, precision, and flexibility.
I recreated the stained glass inside of The Federated Church of Sycamore to a simplified geometric version of the actual stained glass. I mimicked the leaded radial shapes cutting across the strong horizontal windows. I kept the rainbow color palette to be true to stained glass design and to imply inclusivity in the church.
